Suddenly stressed out by an email that seems to indicate you’ve made a mistake, but doesn’t provide much information as to how, or where? Many AdSense users received this message over the weekend, which is no need for alarm:
Dear Publisher,
We have now verified that we are no longer detecting PII being passed to Google from the account(s) under your control.
Thank you for helping to resolve this matter.

The Google Policy Team
In fact, this email is congratulating you on a job well done! You’re not passing Personally Identifiable Information about any of your readers – and we thank you for that!
It sounds like many people received this email, even if they didn’t receive a first one (informing them of the breach in the first place). Luckily, it’s nothing to worry about.
