Sugar Dish Me isn’t just about sweets, although I’d love to try even half of what’s been featured on this site! Heather is the down-to-earth not-afraid-to-be-silly resident chef at Sugar Dish Me, and she hired me to make her site look more professional and yet inviting.

Heather’s project was easy, just as working with Heather is. She wanted a wider theme with a sidebar that could accommodate advertisements. She liked the idea of a lot of white, so her photos could shine, with a subtle color scheme to keep things lively. Due to her contract with advertisers, she needed to capitalize on her space, not wasting anything above-the-fold. Beyond that, giving Heather a functional, cohesive design was just a matter of expanding upon the foundation we had already laid.
