Melissa Hearts Weddings

Melissa was one of my first regular clients, and absolutely one of my sweetest. She always has a new idea in her head and is really passionate about what she does. She came to me with a template that she wanted to keep, but some details that she wanted implemented.

Detail Changes

Knowing that the small stuff can make a big difference, Melissa wanted her site to look unique. Besides implementing a custom favicon, her bullet points were changed to small pink hearts, her pages were styled with custom embellishments, and her posts were given a signature (with her email one to match)!

Set Up

Besides doing design changes, Melissa took advantage of my WordPress mastery to save herself the headache of figuring out one-time changes that needed to be made. I installed a couple plugins after learning what functionality she wanted, set up the ads on her page, verified some of her social media accounts belonged to her domain, and created new pages for her.

Sidebar Enhancement

Creating and setting up social media icons for clients is almost always included in a project. What made Melissa’s unique was the customized search and subscribe boxes she wanted, which needed to match her branding by using her signature heart. Visit Melissa at MelissaHeartsWeddings.com

Melissa doesn’t believe in “don’t sweat the small stuff” when it comes to her blog design. Every detail of it is carefully constructed to make a site that is just how she imagines it should be.
