Little Homesteaders is a simple site chronicling one mom’s journey to urban homesteading. Colleen bought one of my templates from my Etsy shop and has been a top referrer of mine ever since. We did some small customizations for her to make sure her new site felt like home and she was off running after that.

Already prepared with a logo for her site, I set about updating the color scheme to match it, including creating social media icons and creating + implementing her favicon. The format of the post titles and post info was modified to better match Colleen’s vision. Besides doing some consultation on errors she encountering, I also updated her site to be completely responsive.
Shop Gallery Page
One task Colleen was stumped with was how to create a professional gallery of her favorite products that she could share with her readers. After getting an idea of what Colleen wanted her page to look like, I used her photos, titles, and links to create her shop gallery by working with her built-in CSS and not requiring an additional plugin for a single page.
