Autoptimize can be used to:
- Optimize HTML Code
- Optimize JavaScript Code
- Optimize CSS Code
Usually this plugin is very straightforward and friendly to install and set-up. Mediavine has a set-up guide available here.
It can cause some functionality on your site to stop working, especially when we optimize jQuery, so after installation we need to test all of your major pages/page templates to ensure everything loads and we don’t see any console errors.
If you’re already using WP Rocket, we can attempt to use that plugin in place of Autoptimize. In some cases, it’s better to use both plugins.
