We do not recommend enabling this setting.
However, it is sometimes necessary to keep functionality working on your site. In those cases, you need to be diligent about periodically clearing the Autoptimize cache. A large cache will become detrimental to site performance and typically causes very odd errors that are not obviously connected to this plugin.
